Today was my second time attending Feest. I loved it so much I had to come back again! This time there was some shrimp in the foods that we could cook with today, which really added something new to the usual foods. There was also some sweet potatoes that really caught my eye as well, and some squash. Both of these fresh foods always make me hungry and I couldnt wait to cook with them.

So Melissa and I decided to make “sweet potato fries”. It was the simplest recipe ever! All we did was slice up the potatoes into thin slices and put them into a hot skillet with some olive oil. Because of the natural sweetness of the potatoes, all we had to add was some salt on top and it was too yummy!

Today I really learned that sometimes you sometimes only to remember the little things to make a big difference.
