We interviewed, Carlos, a sophomore at Evergreen Campus HS3 about his experience with FEEST.
Q: What was your favorite part of dinner and why?
A: My favorite part of dinner was that I ate. Also that I made a lot of new friends. Also that I got to cook lentils. I come to FEEST because I like to cook things that people eat.
Q: Were there any fruits or veggies you haven’t seen before? Did you try them? What did you think?
A: There was romesco cauliflower and it was good. Its spikey, green and looks like a porcupine.
Q: What dish did you help make at dinner today? How was it different than what you had for lunch?
A; I helped make the lentils. It was different because I had no beans. I ate a fried chicken sandwich and it was bad tasting because I’ve already had 5000 times.
Q: Which dish on the table was your favorite? Why?
A: Lentals because I helped make it. I made a dish that people liked. Everyone kept saying, “Pass the lentils!”
